Seminars for Journalists

The media has a vital role in the healthy functioning of democracy, educating citizens and helping them make better-informed judgments. The Center on Congress has partnered with the National Press Foundation to host seminars such as “Covering the Federal Budget” for journalists. This seminar gives reporters guidance on producing stories to help citizens see how spending and tax decisions made by Congress and the president affect communities across America.
